MYSQL MAMP fails to start after OSX Lion Upgrade
I've just run the upgrade to OSX Lion and MySQL decided to stop working.
A quick look in mysql_error_log.err within the logs folder gave the following clues...
/Applications/MAMP/Library/bin/mysqld: File './mysql-bin.000106' not found (Errcode: 2)
120521 15:13:55 [ERROR] Failed to open log (file './mysql-bin.000106', errno 2)
120521 15:13:55 [ERROR] Could not open log file
120521 15:13:55 [ERROR] Can't init tc log
120521 15:13:55 [ERROR] Aborting
I knew I had binary logging enabled so that was the first thing to go and a restart of MAMP later we are all back up and running.
